Ramon Padilla lost his left arm to a rocket-propelled grenade in an attack on his base in Afghanistan in 2007. A rifle round fractured his skull and left him with traumatic brain injury. Padilla began golfing as therapy, and he even helped design his prosthesis so that he could improve his game.
